/Download/IssueTrackerProduct-0.9.1.tgz
15 new features and 19 bugs fixed. That's 34 important changes which is sufficient to increase the version number from 0.8 to 0.9. But there's more to come!
Highlights of new features include:
- If you disable "Dispatch on submit" and instead point a cronjob to the IssueTrackerProduct you will send out "smarter notifications". more info
- You can now easily add pre and post submit issue hooks. see this how-to
- The homepage is now periodically automatically refreshed with AJAX
- The assignment form has been improved and made more user friendly
- Passing the spambot prevention test is now saved in a cookie instead of just a session
Highlights of fixed bugs include:
- The default unicode encoding was changed to "utf-8" (not "utf8") to please IE 6 and older.
- The RSS feed didn't have a security declaration making it impossible to secure it.
- Filter options "Do show"/"Do not show" had a Javascript error preventing it from working.
- Various Unicode fixes relating to filters and names of users in an IssueTrackerUserFolder.
The most important change is probably new many added unit tests which at the time of writing has reached 76. Many important tests relating to POP3 download have been added which has helped secure a few features in that area. More info
Note that this is an "experimental" release because of the number of new features. There will hopefully soon be a development release closely followed if people find any new bugs.
UPDATE
Moments after this was released two new bugs appeared and were swiftly fixed and repackaged as another release: 0.9.1. All references to 0.9.0 in this news item has been changed to 0.9.1
